Sergeant Omale Onalo, has been identified as one of the three soldiers killed during shootout with armed bandits in Magama local government area of Niger state.

WITHIN NIGERIA reported that armed bandits on Monday, May 17, killed three soldiers and abducted a Chinese national at Libale community in Nasko.

It was gathered that the bandits were met with stiff military resistance. This resulted in an exchange of fire between the bandits and the military, who were protecting the Chinese nationals working on a construction site in the community.

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, who confirmed the killing of three soldiers after holding an emergency security meeting at Government House, Minna, said bodies of two bandits were recovered by the soldiers.
