Chief Ayiri Emami, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Delta state has praised the return from the United Kingdom of APC’s National leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Recall that the former governor of Lagos state returned to Nigeria on Friday night after successful knee surgery in London.

According to Emami, the successful knee surgery underwent by the APC leader was symbolic and has reinvigorated the former Lagos State Governor in his service to the country.

“There were so many rumours about our national leader when he was away; his detractors, traducers and those who do not mean well for the country went to town with various stories about the nation of his health and even wished him dead.”

“But those of us who know him well and believe him his vision and hopes for the country were optimistic that he would return as fit as a fiddle and better that he left. That hope is a reality that that is why this is a thing of so much joy for us all.

“He is back and stronger, the leg is fully recovered to take him anywhere his heart desires with the support of those he leads behind him,” Emami added.

Emami, who would not be drawn into a discussion on his fate in the face of the recent proscription of his title by the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, insisted that he would continue to forge ahead in all he was doing.

“I spoke to The Nation and other news media on the issue you raised, the purpose of this chat is not about the politics of Warri Kingdom but on a great leader, politician and one who has indelible footprints on the political landscape of Nigeria and beyond.”

While wishing Asiwaju Tinubu well in his future endeavours and aspirations, the Itsekiri-born politician called on men of goodwill to rally round him in his quest for a better life for all Nigerians.

“We often hear that one tree cannot make a forest, this is very much true, but we must also not forget the fact that a tree that is fruitful and yields good fruit is not one that should be treated with levity or ignored.

“It is on the fact of this that I stand unequivocally to wish him the very best in all he decides to do and offer my support in any way in the venture that would help move our nation forward,” he added.
