APC unveils zoning formula, zones ‘chairman to north-central, secretary to south-west’

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially released its zonal formula ahead of its national elective convention fixed for March 26.

The zoning formula was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by Salisu Na’inna Ɗambatta, APC publicity director.

According to Dambatta, the recommendations of the zoning were approved by the caretaker committee on Tuesday.

“During its regular meeting on March 8, 2022, the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) approved the recommendations of the Committee on Zoning,” he said.

Adamu Abdullahi, former governor of Nasarawa state, is the consensus candidate for the national chairmanship position which is zoned to the north-central.
