The African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu, has cancelled the Abuja town hall meeting due to the recent security advisory.
Remember that the US Embassy issued a security alert about the increased risk of terrorist attacks in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
The British High Commission also issued a movement advisory and a service reduction announcement to its employees.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the ADC presidential candidate stated, “In light of the recent security advisory in place, I deem it prudent to postpone my Abuja town hall meeting to November 6, 2022.”
He said:
I regret all inconveniences caused.
