Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Wednesday said Atiku Abubakar will offset all the debt of the state if elected President of Nigeria come February.

He said the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) specifically told him that he would pay off Osun’s debt ‘incurred by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He stated this in Ilesa during a campaign for the National and State Assemblies candidate of the PDP in Osun East.

Adeleke urged the people of Ijesaland to vote for candidates of the PDP in the February and March elections.
“I want to reassure you that Ife/Ijesa will witness massive development in my first 100 days. You did well during the last governorship election. I want you to do it again by voting for Fadahunsi and all our candidates.

“Atiku has told me that he will pay about N402billion debt incurred by the APC,” Adeleke added.

The Senator representing Osun East, Francis Fadahunsi, who is seeking reelection, urged the people to vote for all candidates of PDP, saying “PDP will spend 16 years.”
