Senator Ibikunle Amosun, former governor of Ogun State, said the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) was working properly in his polling unit in Abeokuta.
The Senator made this known to reporters after voting with his wife at his Polling Unit.
Amosun stated that the BVAS did not function properly during the previous presidential election, as he had to wait for several hours before accreditation.
It is nice. The BVAS is working fine now. Last time, I waited for two hours before it worked. Voting is going on smoothly, he said.
