The Minister of Steel Development and Director-General of the Kogi State APC Governorship Campaign Council, Shaibu Abubakar Audu, expressed confidence that the APC would win the upcoming November 11 election in Kogi.

He made these remarks during a rally while addressing the people of Kogi Central Senatorial District. Audu stated that the massive crowd at the rally marked a game-changing moment in the state’s political history, effectively quashing the aspirations of opposition parties.

He emphasized that the vision was to bring about an agricultural revolution in the state, highlighting the importance of infrastructure and empowerment for the people. Audu also mentioned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s interest in the revitalization of the Ajaokuta Steel Plant and the need to declare it an industrial park, which would create a significant number of jobs for the youth.

Governor Yahaya Bello thanked the crowd for their support and expressed confidence in winning the upcoming election, noting that the APC had no opposition in Kogi Central and Kogi State. He highlighted the achievements of his administration in terms of unity, employment, infrastructure, and empowerment and promised a violence-free election.
