Some women who stormed the Yenagoa, Bayelsa, command headquarters demanding the removal of Commissioner of Police Tolani Alausa have been dispersed by police officers.

For the sake of neutrality, the female protestors demanded on Friday that Alausa be removed before to the off-cycle governorship election on Saturday.

The women, who were all clad in black, requested that the CP be removed in order to guarantee a peaceful election from President Bola Tinubu and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun.

But the women were dispersed with a teargas following their refusal to leave the facility if their demands were not met.
