The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended a warm invitation to Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State, urging him to consider leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and joining their ranks. This call was made during the North Central APC Forum’s quarterly meeting in Jos, the capital of Plateau State.

Saleh Mandung Zazzaga, Chairman of the APC Forum, highlighted Governor Mutfwang’s significance in the region’s development. He praised the governor for his efforts in promoting peace and security and his inclusive approach to governance.

While acknowledging Mutfwang’s progressive leadership, Zazzaga suggested that aligning with the APC would provide the governor with a platform to advance his agenda for Plateau State further. He emphasized that joining the APC would not diminish Mutfwang’s previous party but would strengthen his capacity to drive development initiatives.

Drawing parallels with other political figures, Zazzaga cited the example of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, who leverages various platforms to pursue development goals. He highlighted the potential synergy between Governor Mutfwang and APC leaders, including President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, who is committed to Plateau’s progress.

Zazzaga underscored the importance of collaboration between the executive and legislative branches in advancing the state’s interests, noting that many legislators in Plateau State are affiliated with the APC.

Furthermore, Zazzaga encouraged Governor Mutfwang to foster unity among political rivals and seek their input in addressing the state’s challenges. He urged Mutfwang to engage with former governors and other stakeholders for their valuable insights.

Zazzaga called on APC members to support Governor Mutfwang’s initiatives to enhance the welfare of Plateau State residents and promote democratic values.
