A man was electrocuted yesterday in Katsina State while attempting to steal transformer parts.
The body of the young man was found near a transformer at Makera Housing estate located along Daura Road in the early hours of Thursday, August 30th.
The deceased was wearing electric gloves and found with some electrician’s gadgets. He is suspected to have been electrocuted while trying to steal some of the transformer parts when power was restored in the area around 3am.
Men of the Katsina State Police Command have taken the corpse for further investigation.
