Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe is making her way to becoming one of the most controversial celebrities of 2018. The mother of two who had to battle for her life after several cases of domestic violence in her matrimonial home recently revealed that she’s still married.
In a recent interview, while speaking to Legacy TV, the actress who was asked what her current relationship status is stated boldly that she’s still married. It is unclear whether she meant that all between herself and estranged husband, Aiswaju Lanre Gentry has been forgiven or if she’s still legally bound to him, pending when they get an official divorce.
In any case, recall that the entire internet was moved to pity when the reports of Mercy being brutally beaten by her husband flooded social media.
Aigbe who had been married for seven year prior to that became a testament on how marriages can be difficult and sometimes, dangerous.
