According to reports by the Italian police, the Nigerian lady identified as Stella was attacked by the man with a bottle while trying to forcefully collect her phone and money.
It was gathered that the lady refused to hand over her properties which infuriated the Nigerian robber as he pushed to a corner and ripped her clothes off in a bid to rape her.
The lady was said to have struggled her way out and managed to escape but not without being stabbed in the neck with the bottle.
After escaping her attacker, the lady notified the Carabinieri, a local law enforcement agency who sent officers to track down and arrest the Nigerian suspect.
The lady was rushed to the hospital where she is currently being treated over her stab wound and her attacker has been charged with attempted sexual violence, attempted robbery and inflicting injury on the victim.
