The kind of philanthropic act a man has put on to humanity has wowed many people online. A restaurant Sakina Halal Grill situated at D.C gives food to the homeless and poor free of charge on a daily basis.
According to the Pakistani owner, they have many people that do come frequently and has turned to their regular customers. There is also a case of a man who has been coming for free food twice a day for up to four years.
Kazi Mannan in his statement says he is just trying to serve God, the creator through food.
In his statement, he said:
We have now so many that are like a regular guest, we know them and what that want to eat, some have teeth problems, so we give them boneless chicken, tender ones.
Once upon a time, I was in a similar situation where I didn’t have enough money to eat.
You pass by a restaurant but never be able to go in, when you don’t have money, nobody is going to let you in.
I’m just trying to worship our creator through food.
