Nigerians have attacked sports analyst, Charles Anazodo, over his clash with pop musician, Tiwa Savage.

Tiwa, 39, was a guest on The Beat FM in Lagos on Thursday.

She was said to have walked past Mr Anazodo and another colleague of his without stopping for pleasantries.

Anazodo tweeted his disgust at her action, saying: “@TiwaSavage was a guest on @THEBEAT999FM earlier today, arrived and walked past @kallyjoe and I, and didn’t have the courtesy to say hello. I guess being a superstar gives you the right to be discourteous.”

In response, Tiwa said she was glad she did not say hello first, asking who Anazodo thought he was that he could not greet her first.

Nigerians on Twitter have criticised Anazodo, saying he displayed a sense of entitlement in wanting Tiwa to greet him first.

The day came
Charles Anazodo positioned himself
Tiwa Savage rushed in
She didn't say hi
Charles couldn't come down from his high horse to say hi – fine. Should have ended there.
Oh
Charles brought it here
Hoping to score highpoints?
But it's all a low.
Another adult on a low 😭

I preached a message yesterday on this street about having a SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT. If my brother Charles Anazodo has been an ardent follower of my power-packed TL 😎, he would've simply said "hi" to @TiwaSavage after the show without any wahala whatsoever. pic.twitter.com/YIW5RePnl8

So Charles Anazodo was the author of that smelly tweet sef. Kmt

Charles Anazodo should address whatever made him think its alright to come and tweet such. Really ridiculous!

Charles Anazodo will always be one of my favorite football Analyst, but that was bottommost of him…

What insult? Tiwa Savage did not insult him at all! Please don't guilt-trip the babe, abeg. What Charles Anazodo did was a crass display of vaunted egocentrism and lack of emotional harness. Tiwa Savage said NOTHING wrong! https://t.co/A09cdEfRe2

Charles Anazodo has unfortunately allowed his overinflated ego and a crassly flawed mentality to get the better of him. He has become the “you can’t even greet somebody” ambassador that he has probably criticized others for. You hate to see it.

Disappointed but not surprised.

Hope Charles Anazodo greets everyone he walks past on his way to work today.

I believe Charles Anazodo just wanted to trend.

His only claim to fame is that he married our crush Mariam. 😭😭
