It is no news that veteran Nigerian singer Tony Tetuila, and Ghanaian singer Tic Tac, are dragging their junior colleague Wizkid to court over copyright infringement.
They are demanding for over N30 million from Wizkid because his single “Gbese” produced by DJ Tunez has some contents from their 2004 “Fefe Na Efe” hit song. They are also seeking 35% of both digital sales and royalties, DJ Tunez and Wizkid received from the song.
Confirming the development, Tony Tetuila took to his Instagram page to establish that they are truly suing the ‘joro’ crooner for violating their intellectual property, he also disclosed that the case is already tabled at the Nigeria Federal High Court and their lawyers have advised them not to say more than that.
