Following the demise of Abba Kyari who was the Chief of Staff to the President, TheNigerian News Group has condoled with President Muhammadu Buhari, Nigerians and the entire Kyari family.

The Management of the Nigerian News in a statement issued in Abuja and signed by Group Managing Director of the Company, Mr David Onmeje said,” we received the news of the passing of Mallam Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, with shock.

He described Mallam Abba Kyari’s demise as a huge loss to the country, given his commitment to the overall growth and development of Nigeria, as evidenced in his invaluable role in the governance of the country since his appointment as Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.

He said, “the late Mallam Abba Kyari was an epitome of humility, selflessness, and devotion to the Nigerian cause in the past five years. This much was seen in his loyalty to the President and the Nigerian people over the years.

“This unfortunate event saddens TheNigerian News Group. It wishes to extend its condolences to President Muhammadu Buhari, the Kyari family and Nigeria in general that have been thrown into mourning over the death of Mallam Abba Kyari.

“Mallam Abba Kyari’s death is indeed a huge loss to the entire country, given his dedication and absolute loyalty to his principal, President Muhammadu Buhari, and the country at large. His numerous contributions to the developmental strides of the present administration cannot be overemphasized.

“TheNigerian News group is deeply saddened by this tragic event in the light of the fact that he died in active service to our fatherland and in a crucial time where his wealth of knowledge and experience are genuinely required in steering Nigeria to greatness.

“Mallam Abba Kyari indeed wrote his name in the sands of time, and posterity would be kind to him when the history of Nigeria is being written in this generation and the generation ahead.

“TheNigerian News Group acknowledges the fact that the late Mallam Abba Kyari was a distinguished citizen in all ramifications, a workaholic, a disciplinarian, and an astute administrator whose devotion to duty was infectious and spoke volume of a man that has the interest of the country at heart.

“The late Mallam Abba Kyari touched lives in ways too numerous to mention over the years both in the private and public sectors of the Nigerian economy. His belief in the socio-economic potentials of the country was unwavering. He stood tall in the discharge of his duties as the Chief of Staff to the President. He was also the driving force behind the sound economic and developmental policies of this present administration.

“The late Mallam Abba Kyari was an ardent believer in the potentials of the country, and he indeed ensured that he gave his all in service for our dear country.

“TheNigerian News Group joins President Muhammadu Buhari, his family, and friends in mourning the demise of this great citizen of Nigeria whose death has indeed left a vacuum in our hearts. Though coming at a time where his services are needed most, we are consoled that he lived a life worthy of emulation in all ramifications.

We pray the Almighty God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus. Amin” he said
