Veteran Nollywood actresses, Gloria Young has appealed for public donations for fellow actress, Ify Onwuemene, who has Endometrial cancer.
The 53-year-old actress made the appeal on Instagram on Sunday when they shared a picture of Ify on her hospital bed.
Gloria, took to her Instagram to make the appeal, when she wrote,
“Folks please we need help for our sister @ifyonwuemene an actress from the days of Sam loco and Enebeli Elebuwa… She has tried sourcing for funds on her own, but nothing is too small. Please send whatever you can to Ifey Onwuemene, Fidelity Bank 6010999993. Thank you.”

Ify Onwuemene, who is popular for her role on the television show, Everyday People, shared a video appealing for public assistance in June 2019.
The video caught the attention of singer, Davido, who promised to pay her medical bills.
Endometrial cancer is a cancer that arises from the endometrium (the lining of the uterus or womb). It is the result of the abnormal growth of cells that have the ability to invade or spread to other parts of the body. The first sign is most often vaginal bleeding not associated with a menstrual period.
