44-Year-Old Federal Civil Servant Kidnapped in Ondo

Eight days after two passengers were kidnapped and released on Ifon/Benin road, another person, Christopher Soje, a Federal Civil Servant, working with the Ministry of Culture and Orientation Warri, Delta State has been kidnapped by hoodlums.

He was kidnapped at 9.00am while travelling to resume work after spending weekend with his family in Akure.

It was gathered that the victim lives in Oke-Ijebu, Akure.

A source within the state security operatives disclosed that the kidnappers at first demanded for N100million ransom before he could be released but later reduced the ransom to N20million but the victim family declared they could only raise one million.

Meanwhile,the hoodlums insisted that they would go for nothing less that N20million.
