Sanwo-Olu reduces LASU tuition fee

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the reduction of the tuition fee for students of Lagos State University (LASU).

Office of the special adviser to the governor on education disclosed this on Friday via Twitter.

In other news, no fewer than 15 members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in Niger state have tested positive for COVID19.

Dr Muhammed Makusidi, the state Commissioner for Health, disclosed this on Thursday January 28 during a meeting with the state governor, Abubakar Sani-Bello on measures to put in place to contain the spread of the novel virus in the state.

According to Makusidi, out of the 16 active cases in the state, 15 are NYSC members. He said the state has recorded a total of 695 confirmed cases spread across 22 out of the 25 local Government Areas and 14 deaths.
