ISWAP fighters on Friday, November 14, tragically killed Brigadier General Musa Uba in an ambush in Borno State.

WITHIN NIGERIA learned that the senior military officer was leading a convoy operation alongside Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) members when the attack occurred.

However, the Nigerian military had initially denied reports of Uba’s capture, but ISWAP, in a twist, claimed responsibility for the ambush and released photos showing the capture and execution of the brigadier general.

Following the confirmation of the sad demise of Brigadier Musa Uba, President Tinubu and other prominent Nigerians have described it as a tragic loss and hailed Uba’s courage and bravery.
