Seasoned singer and proud mother of one, Simi has expressed her opinion about the vulnerability of motherhood.
In post shared by Simi on Sunday, she declared that although she knows she won’t have full control of what her daughter would become, she want her to never be hurt, sad, insecure, in pain, confused or afraid.
“Having a daughter has made me so vulnerable. I want her to never be hurt, sad, insecure, in pain, confused or afraid. The fact I won’t always be able to control these things has made me the most vulnerable I’ve ever been in my life.”, she said
She then expressed that she has to be the best example for her.
“I have to be the best example for her. So help me God.”
The singer married popular musician Adekunle Gold in a wedding that trended on social media for several weeks.
The couple is one of the most popular celebrity couples in Nigeria.
Since having a daughter together, they have grown much stronger in love and affection for each other. In various social media engagements, they have shown how strong their love is and most especially for their newly born daughter.
