Don Jazzy laments bitterly as Burna Boy, Genevieve refuse to follow back after following them on social media

The view that Nigerians do not support their own has made Mavin Records boss and producer, Michael Collins, popularly known as Don Jazzy, to lament bitterly on social media.

The 38-year-old music producer, questioned why Nigerians and Nigerian celebrities do not like following their other artists or local singers on social media but are quick to follow foreign artists.

He further stated that it seems unpatriotic and do not help our stars grow, adding that Burna Boy, Banglee, Genevieve do not follow him back on social media.

”Some will be like I don’t follow Nigerian celebrities with pride sef. This following of a thing no be say we Dey pay for am o. I just feel like we can support more. Buy Nigeria grow the naira. With the numbers we have we can be having some interesting conversations globally if we get all the support we can get. I’m just saying sha. I come in peace.”
