Stop The Rumour, Sound Sultan Does Not Have Throat Cancer – Brother Baba Dee

Following rumours that Sound Sultan is down with throat cancer, his brother, Baba Dee has debunked reports.

Recall that multiple media reports on Wednesday claimed the 44-year-old born Lanre Fasasi was undergoing chemotherapy in the US.

According to Qed.ng, Baba Dee said he was surprised to read stories that his brother was battling cancer especially from media outfits that could have reached out for confirmation.

He, however, confirmed that the ‘Mathematics’ singer is ill in the message to this online newspaper.

“He is sick and he is getting better in New York. But throat cancer. Na lie,” the man born Dare Fasasi wrote in the message.

Baba Dee did not state which illness his younger brother is recovering from. Sound Sultan has not publicly commented on the matter.

His last Instagram post was on Sunday to celebrate his wife on Monday’s Days.

“Happy Mother’s Day my love. I love celebrating you in anyway,” he wrote.

The post before that was to thank God for loving him so much.

“Almighty Allah why do you love me this much? I am not deserving. But all I can say is Alhamdulilah. Ramadan Mubarak,” he captioned the post.
