Liam Payne has split from fiancée Maya Henry, months after announcing their engagement.
The pair moved in together during lockdown after the singer popped the question.
The couple had been together for two years before Liam asked Maya to be his wife. Reports at the time said that Liam popped the question with a £3 million engagement ring.
Liam has now confirmed they are no longer together, stating that he doesn’t think he is very good at relationships as he ends up “hurting people”.
Liam told Steven Barlett on Diary of a CEO: “I feel like more than anything at this point, I’m more disappointed in myself that I keep on hurting people. That annoys me. I’ve just not been very good at relationships.
“And I know what my pattern of things is with relationships at this point.
“I’m just not very good at them so I just need to work on myself before I put myself on to somebody else.”
Liam added: “That’s what happened with my last relationship. I just wasn’t giving a very good version of me anymore. I feel better out of it.
“I didn’t feel good doing what I did but it had to happen. Just a corny way to say it was the best for us both. I hope she’s happy.”
