Legendary Nigerian singer, 2Face Idibia, also known as 2Baba, is still mourning the death of his friend and colleague in the music industry, Sound Sultan.
The ‘African Queen’ crooner was left in the state of confusion two days ago when the death of Sound Sultan was announced by his family. 2Baba couldn’t find any word to express how he felt about the news that shook the Nigerian entertainment industry.
However, 2Baba has now gathered some strength to mourn and appreciate the deceased for being a blessing to him. 2Baba further promised to take care of Sound Sultan’s family in his latest post on Instagram.
He shared a black-and-white image of Sound Sultan with a tear-dropping caption. He wrote, “Couldn’t bring myself to do this but what can we do. Rest well.
Till we meet again, my dear friend and brother.
Still so unreal.
Will never stop celebrating u.
I promise u your fam will be safe and good.
#GRATEFUL for u and the blessings that u represented in my life.”
WithinNigeria on Sunday, July 11, 2021, reported that Sound Sultan died after suffering from Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.
