Nigerian federal lawmaker, Honourable Shina Peller, was on Saturday, August 28, 2021, conferred with a new traditional title known as the “AYEDERO of Yoruba land.”
Meanwhile, the conferment ceremony which took place at the Palace of the Alaafin of Oyo had a lot of dignitaries from all walks of life in attendance.
Some of the notable names present at the occasion include Billionaire businessmen, Obi Cubana and Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as Emoney, and their lovely wives as well.
Both Emoney And Obi Cubana took to their respective social media platforms to share photos from the ceremony.
“Congratulations to my Honourable brother and his lovely wife. Chieftaincy title of AYEDERO of Yoruba land,” Emoney captioned the post he made via his official Instagram page.
On his part, Obi Cubana wrote: “Here for our brother and friend @shinapeller. On his conferment as AYEDERO of Yoruba land. Oyo town. Congratulations Odogwu SP, my Hon!”
In his reaction after he was conferred with the new chieftaincy title, Honourable Shina Peller made it clear that the Alaafin of Oyo has just given him a larger platform to continue to promote peace and prosperity in the Yoruba land. He equally promised not to disappoint the Alaafin.
