Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Pere, has stated that evicted housemate Maria is the only girl he has ever loved in the Shine Ya Eye house.
The former US soldier said this while discussing with Angel and Liquorose in the early hours of Saturday, day 49 of the show, after the Jacuzzi Party.
According to him, he fell in love with her because of her personality, not her beauty.
On Friday night, the housemates met the pictures of Shine Ya Eye ex-housemates on the main lounge.
Pointing to Maria’s picture on the wall, Pere said, “This is the only girl I ever fell for and I don’t regret it.”
Liquorose urged him to “say the name” and Pere said, “Maria.”
“Maria, I love you girl,” said Liquorose, who played the role of bestie while Maria was still on the show.
Pere continued, “That’s the only girl I ever fell for.”
Angel however, noted that she can make Pere fall for her.
“Maria didn’t get me with her beauty. She didn’t get me with her beauty. As a matter of fact, I knew she was beautiful but that’s wasn’t it. Maria got me with her personality,” Pere said.
However, Angel still insisted that she can actually make Pere fall in love with her if she wants to.
