Veteran actor, Jide Kosoko has reacted to his daughter’s photo on cyberbullying as critics fired daughter, Temi Kosoko for being talentless but only enjoying her past glory.
This post came after the daughter of the top-rated actor, Temi, who is also an actress and an online skit maker had joined the viral #NobodyLikeWoman challenge on women’s negativity in the society orchestrated by Singer Simi.
In a monochrome photo, she revealed the society perceives her to be talentless but just enjoying her father’s grace in the entertainment industry.
In reaction to the post, the supportive father told the daughter never to mind people’s criticism about her work as she is doing great.
The actor urged his daughter not to see critics as enemies because they exist to make their prey stronger and better. Adding that he is a proud father having no doubt she will be better than him.
He wrote:
“T. Girl, Never mind. Continue to shine Daughter, you can never rule out envy and criticism. Let that be your strength to move on.
And mind you, they are not your enemies either, they exist to make you stronger and get the kind of positive comments u have here.
I am proud of you..I have no doubt that you will be far far greater than me in Jesus mighty name. Amen.”
Jide Kosoko has two other daughters, Shola and Bidemi Kosoko who are prominent actresses in the Nigerian movie industry.
