The multiple award-winning musician, on Tuesday morning, October 26, 2021, told his fans to hold on to their assets instead of spending all on proving a point.
Social media is filled with different competitions among users trying to appear more expensive and classier. These prompt many Nigerians online to flaunt their luxury items and exotic lifestyles on social media.
For some, to keep up with this expensive lifestyle, they end up spending virtually all of their money just to impress their followers and to gain more recognition online.
Davido has now reached out to his fans through his official Instagram Stories, counselling them not to go broke trying to prove a point.
