Basketmouth Reveals Why He Chose Comedy Before Music

Basketmouth

Nigerian entertainer Bright Okpocha, profoundly called by his stage name, Basketmouth, has disclosed why he delved into comedy before music.

Writing via his official Instagram account, Basketmouth said that he fell in love with music before television and comedy, but had to pursue a career in comedy first.

He chose comedy first because he was yet to find a music producer who understands his perspective of music.

“Most people do not know this, but music was my first love, then TV before comedy. I had to do it backwards as the timing wasn’t right & I hadn’t met a producer that can see music the way I see it……in its true form & color,” he wrote.
