Some set of Nollywood actors have endorsed National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu to contest in the 2023 presidential election.
Actors and actresses at a conference themed; “South West Stands with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu“ clamoured for Tinubu to join the race to become Nigeria’s next president.
Comic actor, John Okafor aka Mr Ibu, Harry B Anyanwu, Foluke Daramola alongside other other Nollywood actors and actresses were in attendance.
The conference focused on the inauguration of the Southwest Committee for the former Lagos State Governor.
In some video clips posted online, members present at the meeting were also seen singing a praise song for the APC leader.
Tinubu however, has not officially declared interest to run for office.
