‘Chief Daddy: Going for Broke’ to continue as Broda Shaggi, others join cast

The official trailer for EbonyLife’s co-produced family comedy Netflix original ‘Chief Daddy: Going for Broke’ has been released.

Recall that we reported earlier that the Niyi Akinmolayan directed movie is set to launch on Netflix in 2022, with the trailer hinting at the continuation of the story of the Beecroft family as they come together to fight a mutual enemy.

As it stands, the movie will see over half of the original cast continue with their roles, and the new addition like Uzor Arukwe, Rahama Sadau, and the popular comedian Broda Shaggi will bring more spice to the movie.

Shoot for ‘Chief Daddy: Going for Broke’ started in May of this year in Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates, and the returning casts members are Joke Silva, Shaffy Bello, Funke Akindele-Bello, Patience Ozokwo, Nkem Owoh, Ini Edo, Dakore Akande, Falz, Zainab Balogun, Mawuli Gavor, Chigul, Linda Ejiofor and more.

The movie will premiere on the 1st of January, 2022.
