Former BBNaija housemate, Vee Iye has finally opened up on why she missed the concert of her colleague, Laycon, which was held on Tuesday night.
Laycon who won the season five edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show held his debut concert on Tuesday and the event was attended by top stars in the industry.
The likes of Joeboy and Whitemoney performed at the event but Vee was missing despite the good relationship she shared with Laycon.
Vee has now taken to her social media platforms to share details on why she was not present at the event.
According to the beautiful screen diva, she was looking forward to the event before an unforeseen circumstance event took place.
Vee noted that she couldn’t take a deep breath without coughing, a move that saw her test positive for COVID-19.
The talented singer added that she’s taking medication as she went on to congratulate Laycon for his latest achievement.
Vee wrote on her platform:
“I was looking forward to performing Enter My Head at iConsFest but as it is, I still can’t take a deep breath without coughing. I tested negative for Covid, but I’m taking medication. Simple. Congratulations @itsLaycon I expected nothing less! YOU DESERVE IT”
