Nigerian Afropop musician, Skiibii is topping music charts across Nigeria with the recent release of the remix of his single ‘Baddest Boy’ featuring popular singer, Davido.
The new remix is currently No. 1 on Apple Music’s Top 100 Nigeria and Top 25: Lagos city charts. The previous, which was released late last year, is currently ranked third.
So far, the song has also received over 1.6 million streams on Audiomack since its release two days ago.
Since its release, the video for the remix featuring Davido has received a lot of attention on YouTube.
Skiibii Mayana, real name Abbey Elias, made headlines in 2015 when he faked his death. In 2014, he also left his former label, Five Star Music, to launch his own record label, More Grace Music.
The Nigerian singer’s latest project, ‘God Is Bigger Than Man’ Extended Play, features the song ‘Baddest Boy,’ produced by Runcheck in 2021. (EP).
