Former big brother Naija housemate, Khloe Abiri has revealed she has experienced a similar situation to what happened to Oluwabamise Toyosi Ayanwole.
Khloe on Instagram, said she was on her way to the airport on March 1 when she almost became a victim.
The reality star didn’t give further details but went on to question why Nigeria doesn’t care for her citizens. She wrote:
“something similar almost happen to me on the 1st of march in my way to the airport.
What a country
How can a whole Nigeria not have a surveillance Camera on every corner ????
At least it can help us navigate some horrible incident ?
How can you just not care about us ? How can our security system always fail us ? why do we have to die untimely in the hands of our fellow humans?
why ?????????”
Recall, 22-year-old Bamise was on her way home from work on Feb. 26, when she boarded a BRT bus at Chevron, Lekki, to take her to Oshodi.
During the journey, she became suspicious as the driver didn’t carry any other passenger and she was alone in the bus. She called a friend to express her concerns and did a video telling her friend that she was afraid.
Her friend advised her to get down at the next bus stop, rather than continue to Oshodi.
Unfortunately, some days after, Bamise was found dead in Ebute Ero.
Residents claim she was thrown out of a BRT bus and the bus zoomed off with a jeep following it.
