Popular Nigerian actress, Genevieve Nnaji made a surprising cameo appearance in the most recent episode of US show ‘Atlanta.’
In a new development, a clip from the Adim Williams directed smash film ‘Sharon Stone’ was featured on the US show’s episode six of season three, which started making the rounds on social media.
As a part of the series ‘Atlanta,’ the Nollywood film was playing in a Nigerian restaurant where Lakeith Stanfield’s character is eating in the viral video. He then makes a remark on the film’s title and mentions that it will be followed by a sequel.
‘Sharon Stone,’ which was released in 2002, was one of Genevieve Nnaji’s career-defining roles. The superstar actress plays the eponymous character, a manipulative young woman who is hellbent on destroying people’s hearts for the sheer joy of it.
Emeka Enyiocha, Steph-Nora Okere, Brian Lawson, Kunle Coker, and Peter Bunor also starred in the successful film.
‘Sharon Stone’ will be the first time a Nollywood cameo is included in the US show created by Donald Glover.
Brian Tyree Henry and Zazie Beets also star in the show.
