Grammy-winning Afro-fusion artiste, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu alias Burna Boy has finally broken silence following the shooting incident that involves his security guard and a civilian.
Just recently, Burna Boy earned the wrath of many on social media after the news made the rounds of a man and his friend getting shot at the club because of the singer.
It was reported that Burna was hitting on one of the men’s wives and it led to the singer’s police escort shooting at the club.
The husband was one of the victims and he was reportedly hit on the thigh while another was grazed by the bullet on his head.
With investigation still going on, Burna Boy has finally spoken out following the incident.
The ‘Odogwu’ Crooner took to his official Twitter account, Burna Boy stated that it’s only a matter of time before he takes the blame for the insecurity happening in Nigeria.
According to Burna Boy, he won’t be surprised if he’s accused of starting Boko Haram.
He wrote:
“Nigerian Social media can say BURNA BOY started Boko haram, e no go shock me”
