Inkblot Productions, one of Nigeria’s biggest movie production companies has unveiled the cast of its coming movie ‘The Set Up 2’ in a new teaser video for the film.
The trailer which was posted on Inkblot’s social media page has confirmed yet another star-studded cast including Lilian Afegbai, Lota Chukwu, Nancy Isime, Stan Nze, and Kate Henshaw.
Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Kehinde Bankole, Jim Iyke, Tina Mba, and Uzor Arukwe from the original cast will be joined by the new casts in the sequel, whose August 12, 2022, theatrical release has already been announced.
Niyi Akinmolayan transfers the directing duties for ‘The Set Up 2’ this time around to Naz Onuzo, who also serves as the sequel’s writer and co-executive producer.
Synopsis of ‘The Set Up 2’
“Four years later, Chike (Adesua Etomi Wellington) has barely come to terms with her life as an agent for an international organization, when she is forced to risk everything she holds dear once again to go after a criminal, Usi (Nancy Isime) who kidnaps Grace’s (Kehinde Bankole) daughter in order to blackmail Chike into doing her bidding.
“Chike and Grace must reunite and build a new team to take down Usi and save Grace’s daughter. But it’s the Set Up and as you would expect things aren’t always what they seem.”
