Tiwa Savage to recieve doctorate honours from Kent University

Congratulations are in order for songstress, Tiwa Savage 

The African Bad Gal, Tiwa Savage is set to become even hotter by a serious degree following the announcement that’ll see her become a decorated doctorate holder from Kent University.

Tiwa Savage will be awarded a honorary doctorate degree from the University of Kent on the 15th of July.

The singer who is currently on tour was announced to be among 10 individuals to receive this honour during the University of Kent‘s congregation ceremonies at Canterbury and Rochester cathedrals.

According to a statement from the institution, Tiwa Savage “will be made Doctor of Music in recognition of her inspirational and international career in music.”

Dr Tiwa Savage had studied Accounting at the same University of Kent before moving on to study music at the Berklee College of Music.

In a similar news story, Nigerian comedienne Helen Paul who relocated to the United States in 2021 after bagging a doctorate degree, has announced that she’s now a Professor. 

Helen Paul also disclosed that she’s now the H.O.D Department of Arts, Music and Entertainment, Heart International University USA. Her husband, Femi also graduated as a Doctor of Law.
