Big Brother Africa winner Uti Nwachukwu has revealed his reasons for not attending church since 2018 on his social media page.
Uti Nwachukwu disclosed that the habit of pastors using the spirit of fear to preach to get their congregations to keep coming back to church and have them do certain things is part of why he decided to stay away from the church.
The media personality said this while reacting to a post that shows American preacher Creflo Dollar, saying his past teachings about tithing were incorrect.
Uti, who is also notable for speaking about tithing, added that African Christians have been attacking him instead of listening to him. In his words;
“I’ve been saying this again and again! But African Christians go attack me cause they want to make money through miracles. Your pastor done talk am now!”
“I also talked about using the spirit of fear to preach!!! Reason I havnt stepped inside a church building in naija since 2018!!!!! God bless the truth!!!!”
