“Dear MEDIA, When you are done using my Name as click bait, add somewhere at the end of your Verbatim journalism, ADD THIS ; “International Grammy Winning Musician Yemi Alade released a FIRE TUNE called #BEGGING…*then add your verbatim* thanks.”
Yemi Alade who recently went on stage without makeup nor costume for the first time ever, became a Grammy Award winner in April, courtesy of her collaboration with Beninese-American music icon Angelique Kidjo on the Mother Nature album.
The music stars won the Best Global Music Album category beating Afro-beat stars Femi Kuti and Wizkid.
Celebrating her win, Yemi tweeted: “You can’t understand greatness! It is for your admiration, not your approval.”
