Davido calls out Oyetola, demands he congratulates Adeleke on victory in Osun

Award-winning sensational singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has demanded a congratulatory message from Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola who lost the election to his uncle Ademola Adeleke.

Davido who recently detailed his dream of owning a media house and documentaries, called out the governor in Twitter post on Saturday, adding that Adeleke congratulated Oyetola when the latter became governor in 2018.

The 29-year-old wrote:

“Your excellency sir @GboyegaOyetola when will you congratulate the Incoming governor of your state @AAdeleke_01, in 2018 my uncle congratulated you even though it was stolen. Do the right thing baba .. one love.”

Adeleke, who was the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was declared winner of the July 16 poll. He got 403, 371 votes to defeat incumbent Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress who polled 375, 027 votes.

The PDP won 17 of the 30 local government areas of the state, while the APC won 13.
