Popular Nigerian Actor, Yul Edochie has taken to social media to question the society’s views on fatherhood.

The father of five shared a video on his official Facebook page, pondering on “Why mothers are appreciated more than fathers?”.

The Nollywood star who has been engulfed with family controversies that shocked fans and made headlines in the past few months, revealed that parents are very important figures in the lives of their children.

However, Yul Edochie can’t fathom why Father’s day is not as popular as Mother’s day.

According to him, Mother’s day is always preceded by weeks of planning, booking appointments or ordering gifts, etc, but people don’t look at Father’s Day with the same enthusiasm and plan exciting activities for their dads like they do for their mums.

To buttress his point, Yul praised his Dad and Actor Pete Edochie for the values he instilled in him and his siblings. He also appreciated the veteran for giving them the best training and education.

The filmstar who is also a father, added that he is keen to taking care of his kids, prayed the lord to continue protecting and providing for him.
