Popular Nollywood stars, Gabriel Afolayan and Tana Adelana have been nominated for the inaugural Nigerian Electronic Media Content Exhibitions and Awards, NEMCEA.
Iyke Okechukwu, Ronke Odusanya, Harry Dorgu, Emeka Ossai, Uche Agbo, Nnamdi Odunze, Sunshine Olawore, Shileola Ibironke, Wendy Lawal, Lydian John, Adeniji Omirin, and Lisa Molapo are among the other nominees for the awards ceremony’s other 12 categories.
Reports state that the award ceremony run by The Electronic Media Content Owners Association of Nigeria (EMCOAN) is a three-tier ceremony which will last for three days.
The Nigerian Electronic Media Content Awards, the Nigerian Electronic Media Content Market, and the Nigerian Electronic Media Content Industry Annual Conferences will all be part of the NEMCEA in 2022.
Jibe Ologeh, President of EMCOAN stated that NEMCEA 2022 is intended to promote the growth and trade in Nigerian electronic media, film, and other content types, expose Nigerian television and media content products to the local and international market, provide development and training support in the areas of marketing and selling these contents to potential buyers, and reward achievements in prime time TV/radio and online performances by all stakeholders.
