Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ Song Gets UK Certification

Burna Boy

Nigerian musician Burna Boy was a guest on ‘The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon,’ where he discussed his hit song, ‘Last Last,’ his latest album, ‘Love, Damini,’ and explained how he got his stage name, ‘Burna Boy.’

The Grammy Award winner described Ed Sheeran, who featured on ‘For My Hand,’ off the ‘Love, Damini’ album as amazing. “He’s like one of my favourite people in the world,” Burna Boy noted. He added that Ed Sheeran had a cheat code because he played the guitar, which made their collaboration easier.

Burna Boy, real name Damini Ogulu, revealed his habit of drawing comic books, and superheroes like Spiderman and Superman inspired his stage name. He said that he wanted to have his own superhero that would be in his image as a superhero. In getting a name for himself as a superhero, the ‘Dangote’ crooner stated all he could think of was ‘Burna Boy.’

He also disclosed that he started music at two because he could always make music and find his way around music. Watch the lively interview below.
