Despite claims by Yul Edochie, that he and his first wife May Yul-Edochie, are living under the same roof, the latter has ignored her estranged husband’s birthday message to her.
WITHIN NIGERIA’s check on the birthday post on Saturday, September 17 revealed that the woman has not responded to the message.
The 40-year-old shared May’s photo on Instagram on Friday with a goodwill message to her.
Yul Edochie prayed for God’s protection and promised to love her forever. He wrote:
“Happy birthday to my wife, my CEO extraordinaire QUEEN MAY YUL-EDOCHIE. I wish you many more beautiful and successful years. May God continue to guide you, bless you and protect you and bless you beyond imagination. Love you forever.”
May, however, ignored the message but replied her husband’s aunt, actress Rita Edochie.
Yul and his second wife actress, Judy Austin, made headlines in April after the former announced his marriage to Judy. The actor also revealed they already have a son together.
Reacting in the comment section of the post, his first wife wrote to the actor and Judy saying, “May God judge you both.”
Following his secret marriage, his relationship with his first wife became strained as she stated several times that she wasn’t a party to being in a polygamous marriage especially with her religion.
However, it seems reality might be different. Yul, tackled blogger, Linda Ikeji, for referring to May as an estranged wife.
Correcting the blogger, Yul Edochie stated that though he had lots of respect for the former, she should have verified the information before publishing.
Schooling her on what estranged means, Yul added that he and his wife are both living in the same house in their mansion in Ajah. He captioned:
“Linda you know, I have a lot of respect for you. This your caption no get naa. Estranged wife means a wife who is no longer living with the husband. Both of us are still living in the same house in our mansion in Ajah. So how is she estranged? Peter Obi will always say ‘go and verify’. You didn’t verify this one before writing Linda.”
Yul, the last child of veteran actor, Pete Edochie, married his first wife at age 22.
In their 17 years of marriage, the actor and his wife are blessed with four children Danielle, Kambi, Karl, and Victory Edochie.
