Veteran Actress, Chinyere Wilfred Talks About Her Character In Showmax Original Series ‘Diiche’

Veteran actress, Chinyere Wilfred in Diiche

Veteran Nollywood actress, Chinyere Wilfred has shared a couple of things about her character in the Showmax Original Series, titled ‘Diiche.’

In a video interview introducing the cast of the series, Chinyere Wilfred answered questions about her Character, Kesaandu Anyanwu, the mother of Diiche, the lead character of the series.

The six-part series follows the story of Diiche, an actress who would do anything to prove her innocence in the high-profile murder investigation over the death of her fiance, Nnamdi.

Describing her first reaction when she saw the script, the 52-year-old actress stated that she loved it and wanted to be a part of the project.

“When I saw it, I loved it. I wanted to be part of it and told myself so. The story is unique and something different from my usual character. It’s a beautiful story, and I’m glad I’m part of it.”

Diiche is the first Showmax Nigerian original limited series, directed by James Omokwe and starring Tolu Ajayi, Fiyin Gambo, and Ifeoma Chukwuogo. Chinyere joins Efa Iwara, Daniel K. Daniel, Uzoamaka Onuoha, Uzoamaka Aniunoh, Kalu Ikeagwu, and Gloria Anozie-Young in the cast.
