A video circulating online captures the moment a roadside vendor got into a heated exchange with a man who purchased her goods with the new naira note.
The recently modified currency still appears strange to Nigerians as they struggle to adapt to the change.
In the video, the man could be seen arguing with the vendor who insisted that he gives her the old naira note as she wasn’t comfortable with the new N1K note.
Other individuals present had to intervene in the matter as they persuaded the lady to take the money but she obviously wasn’t having it.
A lady could be heard saying, “Give am better money, that one nah Yahoo money”.
