Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke has drummed support for his nephew and ace singer, Davido ahead of his scheduled performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Adeleke, who is Davido’s uncle wished him good luck as he is set to grace the stage during the closing ceremony on Sunday, 18th December 2022.
He took to his official Twitter account and said the artiste has done well for the Adeleke family and the world, and he is very proud of him. The governor wrote:
“Good luck tomorrow nephew… @davido I love you ! We are so proud of you , You have done well for your family and the world!! #QatarWorldCup2022 #omoosun”
Davido was initially scheduled to perform at the World Cup opening ceremony but, unfortunately, could not make it due to the demise of 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi.
