Veteran comedian Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth has announced the end of his marriage to wife Elsie Okpocha.
The comic star made an official announcement on his official Instagram page on Thursday, December 22, while admitting that the decision to part ways is indeed difficult for them and things are now beyond repair.
According to Basketmouth, the children’s welfare and upkeep remains their priority amidst their marriage crash.
He urged the public to respect their privacy as they navigate through their trying times.
His words;
“As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation. After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the dificult decision to end our marriage.
As we move forward separately. we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need. We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times. Thank you.”
The couple tied the knot in 2010 and they are blessed with three children, Janelle, Jason, and Maya Okpocha.
